After cleaning up from the raccoon theft we had breakfast and packed up our camp. Left for our 21 mile ride at 7:45am to Luray. After a climb out of the campground it was a pretty easy ride to Lucas to visit the sites. The ride was mostly downhill to our Luray Park campground. Arrived at noon and headed to the local corner store and got the special of the day -- 3 tacos and a drink for $3. Late in the afternoon the Schwann driver pulled in to rearrange his inventory so I made my move. I bought a 1/2 gallon of chocolate peanut butter ice cream and we proceded to eat it all in the 98f heat. Set up our tent in the picnic shelter and read until dark.
