Up at 5:45am with a departure at 6:20am after eating a rollup. Shortly after leaving we came across a doe with fawns. She ran and they hid. After 29 miles we rolled into Broadus at 9:40am and were ready for second breakfast. A local gave us the info we needed and off we went. The Cashway Cafe was on the north side of town and was outstanding. From here, it was only 2 uphill miles to the Wayside Campground at the Junction of highways 112/59. Checked in and had a hot shower and did laundry before setting up the tent. We relaxed in the warm sun and read all afternoon. Early to bed as tomorrow will be a long ride.
