Hi Cal & Dee, I'm thoroughly enjoying your great adventure and wish you well! I've been wondering, too, if you have everything you'll need as you continue your trek into Canada and human habitation becomes even scarcer. Do you have a water filter? How about animal (including bears)-resistant food storage? Several years ago, I bought four bear cannisters (cylinders 10-in in diam & 15-in long) that are easy for humans to open but not animals (unless they're carring a coin or knife). They only weigh ~2 lbs each. I'd be glad to ship them to you somewhere in the Dakotas. Let me know!
