DAY 31, July 14, 2010

Left our camp at Rika's Roadhouse early and rode into Delta Junction for second breakfast at the local diner. We rode that far with Marion and then said our goodbyes at the diner. She was busy on the internet and needed to buy more groceries and said she might just go a few miles today. We rode through some light rain off and on -- as usual. At about 60 miles we started looking for a place to camp (no campgrounds anywhere). At 65 miles we saw a little side road with a cable gate across it. We pushed the trikes under the cable and out of sight from the road and set up camp. About an hour later we saw Marion pushing her bike under the cable. She had been looking for us for several miles and finally gave up. That's when she stumbled on our camp. I guess we were fated to be together.
