DAY 27, July 10, 2010

Our last day in Anchorage started with phone calls home. Then we did one last load of laundry and began organizing our bags so that we can pack up quickly for the early morning train tomorrow. Reid, an army veterinarian that we met on the ferry from Bellingham to Haines took us to a cool Hawaiian restaurant for lunch. We spent the afternoon at the Alaska Museum and walking around downtown. Then Julie and Ron (that we met in Cordova) had us over for a wonderful home cooked dinner. Thanks, Julie. Off to bed and then Fairbanks tomorrow.
