DAY 25, July 8, 2010

Our first stop of the day was the laundry for the BIG machines to wash our sleeping bags. Then we headed to the train depot to buy tickets to Fairbanks. We have taken the highway several times between Anchorage and Fairbanks and have always talked about taking the train. So we will do that on this trip. Then we will resume the trike ride in Fairbanks. We leave Sunday morning, so we have two more days to explore Anchorage. We triked the Coastal Trail all the way to the end and then did the Chester Creek Trail for a total of approx 33 miles. They sure have nice trails here. Then we were back at Humpy's for (yes, Bruce) Halibut tacos -- great.
