DAY 26, July 9, 2010

We started the day with a nice trike ride in the unusual sunshine. Then we were off to Walmart and Costco to restock our supplies for the next legs of the trip. We took advantage of the afternoon sun by setting up our tent in the parking lot and getting it dried out. We started repacking and trying to find room for our new purchases -- including new rain gear. We just can't seem to find the perfect rain outfits, but we are still trying. The latest purchase was recommended by a motorcyclist and is called Frog Toggs. Dee also got new Crocs -- completely wore out the last pair. Then we did some tourist shopping and headed back to our room before the rain started again. We'll be off to bed early for a big last day here in Anchorage tomorrow.
