We left the BAM group at 6:00 a.m. and headed south on the Paul Bunyan Trail towards Little Falls. All went well until we got to Brainard where the trail ended and we had to find the highway. We asked for directions 3 times and still managed to ride an extra 12 miles today just to get here to the Lindbergh State Park. It rained off and on, which didn't help our ride much. Cal managed to leave me along the road while I was getting my rain gear on. He didn't realize I had stopped and I didn't know he had continued on down the road -- including making a turn. I finally found him and caught up, but it was a little frightening.
No good. Don't leave anyone behind.
