We left Moab after steak and egg rollups at McDonald's. Had a short ride by our standards to the Kane Creek Rest Area. We hung out in the visitor building reading to stay warm and out of the wind. Late in the afternoon a storm developed as we were setting up our tent and preparing supper. We weathered the wind and rain before everything settled down for the evening. The Hole in the Rock tourist business is located just off the highway south of our camp area.
