DAY 24, July 7, 2010
This morning we spent washing and DRYING clothes. Our room looks like a yard sale. All our packs are unpacked and everything that wouldn't go in a clothes dryer is hanging from every available piece of furniture to dry. After long hot showers, we ventured out to the local REI to buy more Sealskin socks. We need one pair to wear and one to dry. Some members of the local Anchorage Adventurers club met us in Cordova and invited us to join their group for a ride on some local trails tonight. So we rode around Lake Hood with them -- nice group. Then it was back to Humpy's for fish and chips and an Alaskan beer.
