Rode the Mineral Belt Trail through the mining districts around Leadville. Many old buildings and mine sites still visiable from the trail. A great trail with lots of information about the various points of interest along the trail. The ride out of Leadville was a gentle one with lots of open prairies and mountains as a backdrop.
Stopped to photograph some old structures along the road. Reached the summit of Tennessee Pass and stopped to read the information about the 10th Mountain Division before heading down to Camp Hale. No structures left from the days of WWII only a few foundations and concrete pads.
